Celebrate the Fourth with the TECO Line Streetcar System & In-Town Trolley

This July 4th, HART's In-Town Service is the Star of the Show

Planning to catch the fireworks in the Channel District, enjoy dinner downtown, or hit the clubs this Independence Day? Let the In-Town Trolley and TECO Line Streetcar System be part of your plans!

Hillsborough Area Regional Transit 's (HART) In-Town Service will help you declare your independence from traffic and parking hassles all night long.

The TECO Line Streetcar System operates  from 9 a.m. to 2 a.m. on Saturday, July 4th, and the In-Town Trolley Green Line runs from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. 

Entertainment at Channelside Bay Plaza begins at 3:30 p.m., and the fireworks start at 9 p.m.

The In-Town network of services connect dining and entertainment destinations and parking between Ybor City, Channel District and downtown Tampa. So you can park the car once and play all night long.

Make a connection to the Green Line at the Dick Greco Plaza transportation center adjacent to the Tampa Convention Center. It's just 25¢ a ride on the Green Line. For a map and more information about the In-Town Trolley Green line, click here.

The Streetcar System serves four major parking garages including:

Noriega Parking Garage (8th Avenue and 13th Street, just off Nuccio Parkway)

Port Authority Garage (Channelside)

South Regional Parking Garage (Forum)

1-Day Unlimited Ride Card - $5.00
1-Day Discount Unlimited Ride Card - $2.50
One-Way Cash Fare - $2.50
Discount Cash Fare - $1.25
Discount fare valid for seniors age 65 or over, youths 17 or younger, people with disabilities or Medicare cardholders

Exact change required when paying onboard - streetcar motormen and trolley drivers do not make change.

Ticket Vending Machine at Dick Greco Plaza
Always open, always convenient, HART has installed an automated Ticket Vending Machine at the Dick Greco Plaza transportation center, located adjacent to the Tampa Convention Center, Marriott Waterside and Embassy Suites. You can use cash or credit cards anytime. It's easy to use, saves you time, and eliminates the need for exact change!
